Ten-point safety and servicing review
Buying a used car is a big decision and we want you want to feel confident in your purchase when you drive away from our forecourt.
Every vehicle we sell will go through these ten processes, giving you peace of mind that your new car not only looks great but has also been safety checked and serviced so it’s fully ready to hit the road.
During the review our team will:
- Check bodywork for minor dents and scratches, with repairs carried out by a specialist if required.
- Check the tyres and if they are perished or worn they will be replaced as necessary.
- Service the vehicle as necessary carrying out the following checks on clutch and brake fluid levels, all other engine levels checked and topped up, brake pads and discs, suspension, springs, CV joints, exhaust system and underbody, washers, wipers, interior and exterior lights, interior equipment and Bluetooth connectivity.
- Carry out a vehicle diagnostic check to make sure there are no historic fault codes
- Road test the vehicle
- Remove wheels, clean inner wheel arches and de-tar.
- Pressure-wash the car, including wheel arches, door shuts and under bonnet.
- Clean surface and inside of wheels and refurbish if necessary.
- Carry out a two-stage mop and polish paint to make sure your new car sparkles.
- Deep clean the interior with a final freshen up and wax prior to delivery.
